As a Strategic Sourcing Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the procurement strategy and supplier relationships to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance for the NPI projects.
You will report directly to our Sr Director Strategic Sourcing and you’ll work out of our Monterrey, Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring the availability of high-quality materials and services. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize supplier performance, reduce total cost of ownership, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. By leveraging market intelligence and conducting supplier evaluations, you will identify and onboard strategic suppliers to support business objectives.
- Lead team of Sourcing Specialists across Americas, EMEA and India.
- Coordinate with Sourcing COE teams and develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance for NPI projects
- Lead supplier cost, tooling and lead time negotiations and to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Monitor NPI project status and coordinate with all functions across Global teams for successful launch of the projects
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Complete risk assessment for all NPI programs and develop action plans to mitigate risks
- Identify Capex for supplier tooling for all NPI programs and coordinate with AME for Capex AOP submission
- Present program status and action plans for project risks in leadership meetings
YOU MUST HAVE
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in supplier management and Project management.
- Proficient in presentations and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
WE VALUE
- Master’s degree in business administration or supply chain management or any Engineering category
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
- Experience in a global sourcing environment and managing suppliers across different regions
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
