The Opportunity
As our Senior Manager, GTM Systems, you'll own the architecture, health, and roadmap of the systems that power Blue J's go-to-market engine across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. You'll set the vision for our GTM technology stack, helping shape what we build, buy, or retire while ensuring the systems our teams rely on every day are stable, scalable, and well-configured.
You'll manage a small, growing team - a Senior GTM Systems Administrator and a contractor supporting ticketing and systems work - and partner closely with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Analytics, and GTM Enablement to prioritize the initiatives that will have the greatest impact.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical work. You'll define the long-term architecture and direction of our GTM systems while also contributing directly to system configuration and optimization as needed, particularly as the team and function continue to grow.
What You’ll be Doing
Vision, Strategy & Architecture
- Own the long-term vision and architecture for Blue J's GTM technology stack, including Salesforce, CPQ, marketing automation, and adjacent systems.
- Assess and evolve our GTM technology stack, identifying opportunities to optimize, modernize, or enhance our systems as the business grows.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate when to introduce new tools versus extending existing capabilities, balancing business needs, user experience, cost, complexity, and long-term sustainability.
Systems & Tool Stack Ownership
- Ensure our GTM systems are reliable, well-configured, and seamlessly integrated with billing, the data warehouse, AI agents, and other business-critical systems.
- Lead configuration management and the GTM systems project pipeline, partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
- Oversee vendor relationships, renewals, and the GTM technology budget, helping ensure investments align with business priorities and long-term goals.
Team Leadership & Ticket Operations
- Establish scalable processes and operating practices that enable the GTM Systems team to deliver high-quality support and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure requests from Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success are triaged, prioritized, and resolved in alignment with agreed service levels.
- Continuously improve the team's processes, tools, and operating model to support business growth and evolving organizational needs.
AI Strategy for GTM
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can enhance GTM workflows, surface actionable insights, and reduce manual systems work.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to identify and implement AI capabilities within our GTM systems that improve the experience for prospects, customers, and internal users.
- Monitor emerging trends and advancements in AI-enabled GTM technology, evaluate their potential impact, and provide recommendations that align with business priorities and long-term goals.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Revenue Operations and GTM stakeholders to understand business needs, gather feedback, and prioritize the GTM systems roadmap.
- Provide guidance to GTM leaders on technology capabilities, implementation considerations, trade-offs, and investment decisions to support informed planning and execution.
