Job Summary
Part of a larger team delivering high quality Computer, Network, Storage and End-User Infrastructure technology solutions, on-going support to the business. Independently completes and leads the largest and most complex infrastructure project assignments. Plan, research, evaluate, design, and engineer the enterprise's technology infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting, cost estimates, justifications, and recommendations. Produces technical documentation, support and configuration. Helps manage, plan, and maintain technical platforms including upgrading systems. Monitor system performance, and install and configure hardware. Responsible for collaborating with other Job Families such as Project Managers, Architects, Solution Engineers, Technicians, Business Analysts to deliver consistent, reliable technology solutions that leverage AEP's technology standards, architectures and best practices.Job Description
What you’ll do:
Essential Job Functions & Tasks
Strong experience managing and supporting enterprise Voice/VoIP platforms, call routing, dial plans, and telecommunications infrastructure.
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and hybrid telephony environments.
Advanced knowledge and administration experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), including voice gateways, SIP trunks, and call processing.
Strong knowledge and experience with Session Border Controller (SBC) technologies, including Oracle SBC deployment, configuration, security, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding and administration experience with call recording and compliance platforms, including NICE.
Strong experience with E911 solutions, emergency location management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Good knowledge and experience with Cisco UCS infrastructure and supporting enterprise collaboration workloads.
Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, VLANs, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting as it relates to voice and collaboration services.
Experience collaborating with network engineering teams to design, optimize, and troubleshoot converged voice and data networks.
Knowledge of network performance monitoring, packet analysis, and voice quality troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark and call quality analytics platforms.

10 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
