Accountabilities:
- Build and scale the product management organization by establishing team structures, operating rhythms, processes, and standards that enable ownership across product capabilities.
- Translate strategic objectives into prioritized product plans, ensuring alignment between business goals, technical execution, customer needs, and operational impact.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap across multiple technology domains, balancing engineering capacity, customer priorities, and long-term capability development.
- Establish product development standards, including requirements documentation, product specifications, acceptance criteria, release processes, and feedback loops.
- Engage directly with customers, operators, and mission stakeholders to capture real-world needs and ensure solutions address operational challenges.
- Drive collaboration between engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams while serving as a key communication point for product priorities and delivery progress.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and support build, buy, or partner decisions to maintain a competitive technology advantage.
- Define portfolio-level objectives, metrics, and success indicators while holding teams accountable for measurable product outcomes.
- Guide product decisions involving complex hardware, software, AI, and autonomous system integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
- Proven experience leading product management, systems engineering, or technical product teams.
- Demonstrated success developing product strategies and roadmaps for complex technical solutions, preferably in defense, aerospace, autonomy, or dual-use technology.
- Strong experience managing products that combine hardware, software, sensors, payloads, or integrated technology systems.
- Ability to define and manage requirements at both product capability and portfolio levels.
- Experience applying AI/ML concepts, modern product development practices, and testing methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence executives, technical teams, customers, and external partners.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and strategic technology partnerships.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, establish structure, and drive teams toward measurable results.
- Experience with autonomous systems, command and control platforms, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) technologies.
- Knowledge of communication systems and advanced technologies across air, land, and maritime domains.
- Experience building product organizations within a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Familiarity with defense acquisition processes and mission-focused technology development.

As the Director of Product Management, you will own the execution and evolution of the product capability roadmap while building scalable product practices across a growing organization.
