Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Adult Daycare RN, you will help participants receive holistic and compassionate nursing care so they can maintain their health, independence, and well-being within a supportive environment.Every day you will organize and implement nursing care, assess participants' conditions, and provide essential medical interventions. You will be expected to document care accurately, ensure timely medical care as prescribed, and educate participants and their families on health recommendations.To be successful in this role you must possess strong physical assessment and quick medical decision-making skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, participants, and families.
- Ensure timely medical care is delivered as prescribed via MD orders and established plan of care in accordance with Title 22 Adult Day Health Care regulations
- Observe and collect data regarding the physical and emotional conditions of participants.
- Provides concise and timely documentation which includes use of electronic medical records. Accurately documents all treatments and observations on a daily basis.
- Inform RN Supervisor of any changes in participant conditions in a timely manner.
- Develops, implements, modifies and documents individual care plans as dictated by regulations and patient change in condition.
- Ensures the clinic has accurate and current schedules for clinical treatment and personal care needs. Oversees dietary orders for accuracy and implementation.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School graduate (or equivalent)
- Comprehensive nursing experience including clinical disease entities
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
