We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Executive to join our dynamic team and support strategic sales initiatives through data-driven analysis, forecasting, performance reporting, and business planning. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Business Operations to identify growth opportunities, optimize sales performance, and improve commercial execution.

Your primary objectives and responsibilities will be:

  • Partner with Sales leadership to provide analytical support, strategic insights, and operational guidance that drive revenue growth and improve commercial performance.
  • Analyze sales, pipeline, market, and customer data to measure performance against business objectives, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations that support informed decision-making.
  • Support sales forecasting, territory planning, account assignments, business planning, and other strategic initiatives to optimize sales productivity and execution.
  • Provide day-to-day analytical support to Sales leadership through ad hoc analysis, business reviews, executive presentations, and performance reporting.
  • Partner across the organization to improve commercial processes, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment in support of business priorities.
  • Maintain the integrity of commercial data, support compliance with Oracle business practices and policies, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve business outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership by proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and recommendations that enable long-term business growth.

Support the commercial growth of the Oracle Health and Life Sciences business by partnering closely with Sales leadership to deliver strategic insights, business analysis, and operational support. This role focuses on leveraging data to improve sales performance, optimize commercial execution, and enable informed business decisions.

Commercial Analytics & Business Insights

  • Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, market trends, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and business risks
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support revenue growth and improve commercial execution
  • Develop business cases and perform analysis to support strategic initiatives and sales leadership decision-making

Sales Planning & Performance

  • Support sales forecasting, territory planning, account assignments, and business planning activities to maximize sales productivity
  • Monitor key business metrics and provide performance analysis against business objectives
  • Assist with quarterly business reviews, annual planning cycles, and executive reporting

Commercial Operations & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner across the organization to support strategic initiatives, improve business processes, and drive operational excellence
  • Ensure the integrity of data used for forecasting, planning, and business decision-making

 

Experience Needed

Commercial Analytics & Strategic Thinking

  • 3–8 years of experience in commercial analytics, sales strategy, sales operations, business operations, consulting, finance, or other analytical business roles (IC3–IC4 level)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems and translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Experience supporting revenue growth initiatives through forecasting, planning, and performance analysis

Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in forecasting, financial analysis, business planning, and performance measurement
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets into concise, executive-level presentations and recommendations

Business Partnership & Communication

  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with business leaders and influence decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with multiple priorities

Industry Experience

  • Healthcare, Life Sciences, or enterprise technology experience preferred but not required
  • Experience supporting commercial organizations, sales teams, or go-to-market functions is highly desirable

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $83,000 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
