Accountabilities:

    The Assistente Comercial - Inside Sales will support sales activities, manage customer interactions, and contribute to business development initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple commercial processes while maintaining customer satisfaction and profitability.

    • Interact with international agents to negotiate commercial conditions for freight and service purchases and sales, supporting business continuity and new opportunities.
    • Manage assigned customer requests related to import and export quotations, ensuring timely responses and effective commercial support.
    • Maintain frequent communication with customers through meetings, calls, and other communication channels to strengthen relationships and protect profitability.
    • Identify new business opportunities, develop solutions, prepare proposals, and support negotiations through to deal closure.
    • Negotiate purchase rates with approved suppliers for air and maritime import/export operations, including complementary services such as road transportation, cargo insurance, and related solutions.
    • Provide commercial support to sales executives by preparing quotations and assisting with new business opportunities and contract renegotiations.
    • Collaborate with international logistics analysts to align customer strategies and ensure effective service delivery.
    • Participate in commercial meetings by sharing relevant information, insights, and suggestions to improve processes and customer experience.
    • Maintain accurate records of proposals, quotations, opportunities, and customer interactions through commercial systems and CRM tools.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has experience supporting commercial activities within logistics or international trade environments, with strong organizational skills and a customer-oriented mindset. This position requires communication abilities, analytical skills, and the willingness to develop expertise in freight forwarding and sales operations.

      • Completed high school education required; currently pursuing higher education is preferred.
      • Previous experience in pricing activities within freight forwarding or logistics is required.
      • Intermediate English proficiency required.
      • Intermediate Excel skills required.
      • Knowledge of international freight forwarding operations is desirable.
      • Intermediate Spanish proficiency is considered an advantage.
      • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
      • Customer-focused approach with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
