JP Morgan's Wealth Management division has an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in our investment and research team.

As an Investments Governance Associate  within the Investment and Research team you will contribute to enhancing processes and coordinating investment research efforts to gain greater efficiency across the platform, while fostering an integrated governance environment. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertake analytical tasks and deliver proposals that contribute to enhancing processes and identifies investment oversights. 
  • Follow market trends and analyse market data to understand factors impacting fund performance.
  • Review investment related documentation such as investment Committee decks and fund performance reviews.
  • Coordinate the collection of information from partnering teams required for the completion of oversight materials and processes.
  • Perform regular reviews of designations and methodologies that are used in various investment oversight processes in coordination with the subject matter experts and present outcomes to our committees. 
  • Create materials that are used for investment oversight of third party and internal wealth management products, as well as insurance carriers
  • Ensure appropriate levels of documentation exist to evidence the investment oversight process. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Great industry experience,  in Wealth management or Asset Management or similar. 
  • Working knowledge of fund of funds business and a variety of investment products including mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, structured products, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Insurance business and Insurance carriers. 
  • Strong interest in Investments.
  • Proven ability to parse complex tasks and juggle priorities in a highly dynamic professional environment with a focus on attention to detail
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing assignments with limited supervision. Superior time management and ability to prioritize a heavy workload

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience with Investment Committees or  Investment Committee secretary responsibilities 
  • Analytical skills and good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Programming knowledge a plus.
