The Role

Your role
 

As a Project Management professional at Kyndryl, you will manage planning and execution across technical workstreams supporting a Kyndryl client’s software-product engineering engagement. This role covers project planning, schedule management, dependency coordination, onboarding readiness, change control, reporting, workstream validation, transition activities, and delivery coordination across engineering, cloud, DevOps, support, testing, and certification-aligned teams.
 

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain project plans covering activities, assignments, milestones, dependencies, delivery estimates, and project status.

  • Coordinate project kickoff, action items, data collection schedules, onboarding tasks, resource readiness, access dependencies, and transition activities.

  • Manage risks, issues, changes, dependencies, deviations, stakeholder communications, and escalation follow-up.

  • Support workstream validation and true-up activities covering scope, volumes, assumptions, resource requirements, skills alignment, operational conditions, and technical dependencies.

  • Work with technical leads, software engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, test engineers, support teams, delivery managers, and customer points of contact.

  • Prepare status reporting covering completed activities, planned work, issues, concerns, recommendations, milestones, and other important delivery items.


Who You Are

Required skills and experience
 

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Experience managing technical projects across software engineering, embedded systems, cloud platforms, DevOps, testing, product support, certification, or complex technology delivery environments.

  • Strong project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, issue management, dependency coordination, change control, and stakeholder reporting skills.

  • Ability to manage customer-controlled dependencies such as access, tools, platforms, documentation, training, approvals, and workstream inputs.

  • Experience coordinating distributed technical teams and delivery governance forums.
     

Preferred skills and experience
 

  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or technical program management experience in software/product engineering environments.

  • Experience with managed capacity models, transition planning, 90-day rolling forecasts, onboarding governance, or resource readiness tracking.

  • Exposure to safety certification, DO-178C, V&V, compliance artifacts, or regulated engineering workstreams.
