Role responsibilities
The Marine Welder will support trades teams on active class surface ships and submarines, performing alterations and installations for fleet modernization. Responsibilities include working from blueprints, installing and repairing structural and piping elements, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school education or equivalent and at least 6 years of related experience, with specific welding skills in SMAW and GMAW processes. Additional requirements include the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance and medical clearance for respirator use.
