Workplace Space and Events Lead

Location: New York City, NY (One Manhattan West; Onsite)

The Space and Events Team Lead is an Associate Manager, responsible for leading end-to-end event planning, space management, and space experience delivery at Accenture’s customer service driven corporate office. The Workplace Events Lead serves as the primary point of accountability for event quality, client experience, and cross-functional coordination across all Workplace departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale, high-visibility events including client functions, executive meetings, internal programming, and CIC events

  • Develops a tailored coordination approach for each event, including planning calls, walkthroughs, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder briefings

  • Maintains an event portfolio showcasing space setup options, configurations, and service offerings to support effective client planning

  • Uses technology platforms to manage reservations, approvals, budgets, scheduling, logistics, and attendee registrations

  • Ensures seamless, high-quality event execution through coordination across all Workplace departments including Technology, Reception, Facilities, Security, and Catering

  • Contributes to team strategy and operational planning, including readiness for increased event volume tied to CIC hub growth

  • Directly manages and develops a team of Events and Space professionals, including contractors and junior team members

  • Provides day-to-day leadership, direction, coaching, and performance oversight within the Events & Space function

  • Models a team-first leadership approach, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support any Workplace function as needed

  • Fosters a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team

  • Supports onboarding, training, and professional development of team members

  • Serves as a senior point of contact for internal stakeholders and leadership, communicating policies, standards, and event updates clearly

  • Builds and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and effective escalation resolution

  • Partners closely with the Workplace Facilities Lead and Office Services Lead to align priorities, resource needs, and service quality

  • Manages relationships with external vendors, catering partners, and service providers to ensure delivery of excellence

  • Maintains a strong focus on hospitality and client satisfaction in every interaction

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in events, hospitality, workplace services, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience planning and executing high-end, client-facing events in a corporate or professional setting

  • Minimum of 2 years of people leadership or team management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of food & beverage industry trends, and dietary restrictions

  • Experience with a network of catering vendors

  • Knowledge of EMS or other reservation management system

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable with technology (advanced skills a plus)

  • College degree preferred

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification preferred

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
