Headquartered in Berlin, Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.Job DescriptionAs a Security Operations Analyst within the Security function, you will play a key role in protecting the organisation through proactive threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and operational resilience coordination across local, regional, and platform environments.The Security Function operates as a 1.5 line of defense within the organisation, supporting security governance, engineering, and operational security capabilities across the business.You will work closely with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, Platform, and GRC teams to strengthen operational security, resilience readiness, and security response capabilities across modern cloud-native and AI-driven environments.The primary focus areas of this role include:Threat & Vulnerability ManagementSecurity Monitoring & OperationsIncident ResponseOperational Resilience Planning & CoordinationThis role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who enjoys operational security, incident investigation, threat analysis, operational coordination, and continuous improvement of security operations processes and capabilities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC, Incident Response, Threat & Vulnerability Management, or related cybersecurity rolesExperience working with security monitoring and operational tooling such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, or cloud security platformsFamiliarity with AWS/GCP cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure, and operational security practicesSound understanding of incident response, threat management, vulnerability management, and security operations workflowsFamiliarity with security frameworks and best practices such as NIST, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, or ISO 27001Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skillsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced and cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications (Although Not Essential)Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SC-200, CEH, or similarExposure to cloud-native environments, container security, or DevSecOps practicesBasic scripting or automation experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies is advantageousFamiliarity with SOAR platforms, threat intelligence, or security automation toolingKnowledge or experience of supporting operational resilience, disaster recovery, or crisis coordination activitiesInterest in AI-enabled security operations, automation, or operational resilience governance Additional InformationWhat we offer:A dynamic and challenging work environment.A company committed to developing you personally and professionally.A great working atmosphere with regular company and team events.A vibrant and international team committed to diversity and inclusion.Responsibility from day one in a fast growing and global company.Other benefits include free food, health and dental insurance, and learning and development opportunities!foodpanda is operated by Delivery Hero Group (“DH Group”) - the world’s leading local delivery platform, operating in 70+ markets across Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
