Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate reports to the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities focus on performing various functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials; picking and filling orders from stock; serving as the point of contact for facility maintenance needs; packing and shipping orders; or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area
- Process and deliver regular mail and shipped items
- Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
- Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors
- Serve as the point of contact for maintenance issues that arise at the facility
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
- Assist in counting physical inventory
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Complete reports by entering the required information
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with diverse individuals and to consistently handle interpersonal situations in a professional and respectful manner
- Excellent organizational ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented and the ability to provide accurate documentation
- Solid knowledge of Google Apps platform and the ability to learn new software applications and computer programs
