As an Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrical), you’re not just maintaining the hotel’s physical safety and functionality – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
- Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
- Ensure the functionality and availability of hotel facilities and technical systems: Maintain the safe and reliable operation of all building equipment and infrastructure in compliance with applicable safety regulations
- Conduct electrical maintenance tasks, including: Replacement of switches and electrical outlets; replacement of light bulbs and lighting components; repair of small electrical appliances and equipment
- Support operational and technical improvement initiatives: Assist in the development and implementation of improvement measures, support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and technical systems, and manage maintenance inventory, including ordering necessary materials and supplies
- Perform general facility maintenance duties: Carry out a variety of handyman and maintenance tasks to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel
