Accountabilities:

    • Manage and coordinate virtual power plant, demand response, energy efficiency, and battery programs to ensure successful implementation and operational performance.
    • Analyze energy performance data, customer response patterns, dispatch results, and program metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that improve workflows, customer experiences, operational processes, and program outcomes.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility partners, energy market stakeholders, internal teams, and external collaborators.
    • Support the expansion strategy for load flexibility programs by identifying opportunities, improving processes, and contributing to new market initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Development, and Customer Success teams to ensure effective program delivery and scalable growth.
    • Communicate program performance, risks, recommendations, and progress updates clearly to leadership, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Coordinate issue resolution by prioritizing customer needs, improving communication channels, and ensuring smooth operational execution.
    • Monitor compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in energy management.
    • Support business development activities, including responses to proposals and collaboration on new capabilities with technical teams.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
      • Minimum of two years of experience managing demand response programs, energy management initiatives, or related energy industry projects.
      • Strong understanding of virtual power plants, demand response, energy efficiency, battery programs, and emerging load control technologies such as solar, electric vehicles, and distributed energy resources.
      • Experience applying data analysis and operational insights to improve program performance and customer outcomes.
      • Familiarity with artificial intelligence applications in the energy sector is preferred.
      • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, partners, customers, and leadership.
      • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward in an evolving startup-like environment.
      • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to turn complex challenges and ambiguous situations into practical solutions.
      • Knowledge of program management methodologies and tools; project management certification such as PMP is a plus.
