Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams include development, infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and operations teams.
- Attend Project Agile Sprint daily stand-up meetings, customer meetings, and other team meetings
- Work in a Scrum team – participate in all Scrum ceremonies (daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective, Program Increment Planning ceremonies, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with the infrastructure team and the development team in creating automated test scenarios
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with solution’s function, output, online screen, or content
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Document software defects, using JIRA bug tracking system, and report defects to the software developers or Scrum Master.
- Research, develop, install, and configure tools to improve testing and quality efforts Operation and Maintenance:
- Maintain and upkeep the implemented test automation suite on a release basis
- Manage source code repositories, JIRA, and Confluence
- Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team, as well as independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team building
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Kanban Framework
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
- Proficiency with open-source automation tools (Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Good experience in software testing environment, or equivalent to.
- Must have good practical testing skills and an understanding of the QA and development
- Java or JavaScript skills and preferably basic knowledge of databases and related scripting/programming.
- Experience on working with automation in a CI environment.
- Practical experience with any modern test management, defect and requirement tools.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Deal effectively with all levels of the organization experience with scripting in one or more languages (UNIX based scripting, Python)
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Kanban Framework
- Prior working experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Acceptance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases
- Experience with SCM solutions such as (GitLab, Artifactory)
- Familiarity with StormRunner, WebLogic, TestRail, LoadRunner, Gitlab, Artifactory, jFrog, AWS
- Java or JavaScript skills, basic knowledge of databases and related scripting/programming.
- Experience developing repeatable test procedures, executing tests, recording results, and working with developers to identify and resolve issues
- Proficiency with open-source automation tools (Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Assist in coding an automated framework
- Experience with build tools
- Must have an active Secret clearance
