We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.Job DescriptionThe AI & Automation Centre of Expertise (GenAI CoE) at Experian helps teams across Experian's UK business. It improves products using Generative AI, machine learning, and automation. The centre has a focus on responsible, measurable impact.This is a hybrid role reporting into the Head of Automation for someone who enjoys both shaping ideas and bringing them to life.You'll work across two connected areas:Opportunity discovery and product ownership: identifying, refining, and validating AI and automation use casesPrototyping and technical scoping: building and testing solutions using low-code tools and latest technologiesAn important part of your role is the ability to switch between focusing on pipeline and opportunity shaping, into hands-on delivery to remove bottlenecks and accelerate progress.Who are we looking for?Someone who is:Comfortable working with early-stage, ambiguous ideas and turning them into structured opportunitiesHands-on and curious, with an interest in testing and building solutions quicklyMotivated by learning— new AI capabilities and low-code tools as they emergeYou will connect needs, data, and technology to make better decisionsA big part of the job is choosing the right approach — when AI is valuable, and when simpler analytics or Automation is the better answer. This is not a pure developer role, and not a traditional product owner role. It sits between both—focused on turning ideas into tangible outcomes.What you'll doWork with partners to translate business problems into clearly defined user casesBuild and manage a pipeline of AI and automation opportunitiesAssess feasibility, value and suitability of AI vs traditional approachesScope solutions, defining MVP, success criteria and experimentation approachesDevelop rapid prototypes and MVPs using low-code / no-code platformsCommunicate outcomes, including trade-offs, risks, and recommendationsExplore and apply new tools to improve how we deliverQualificationsExperience in a product, digital, or technical role where you have shaped and delivered solutionsExperience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect, with experience working across business and technical partnersYou will have experience translating business problems into structured use cases and deliverable solutionsComfortable working in uncertain or exploratory environments, using experimentation to guide progressA curiosity for AI and automation, and an interest in how they are applied in real-world settingsIt would be great if you also haveExposure to AI use cases such as generative AI, classification, or workflow automationExperience running experiments, pilots, or MVP-style deliveryExperience with low-code / no-code platformsExperience explaining technical concepts or analysis to non-technical partnersAdditional InformationBenefits package includes:Hybrid working - 40% office basedGreat compensation package and discretionary bonus planCore benefits include pension, bupa healthcare, sharesave scheme and more!25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days.
