Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Lake Buena Vista, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to guests and staff. - Provide customer service to guests, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when needed and documenting security-related activity according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to identify potential concerns, assist with directions and guest inquiries, and support a professional atmosphere across the location.
- Assist with reporting hazards, maintenance-related concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site contacts while maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
