Accountabilities:
- Contribute to climate risk management projects, including the development of physical and transition risk assessment processes, methodologies, and models.
- Analyze the impact of climate risks on financial and business risk areas.
- Review climate stress scenarios, risk drivers, policies, and frameworks related to climate risk management.
- Assess strategic, operational, financial, and risk implications of sustainability trends and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Support clients in developing climate risk management processes, policies, governance structures, and enterprise risk integration approaches.
- Collaborate with clients to identify needs, support engagement development, and contribute to technical reports and proposals.
- Manage complex technical topics within the sustainability and risk management domain.
- Apply knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices related to climate change and sustainability.
- Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality advisory and assurance outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics, or another STEM-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, credit risk, statistical modeling, climate risk modeling, banking risk management, or related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SAS, R, Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
- Exposure to ESG reporting, sustainability reporting, or regulatory reporting is preferred.
- Experience designing or implementing ESG-related initiatives is a plus.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and contribute to client-facing discussions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-changing environment.
