The opportunity:
Mastercard's AI & Data Strategy team is redefining how we engage with enterprise teams to create an AI-native operating model. More than a single process or tool, this project combines workflows, decision intelligence, governance pathways, and AI-native experiences to redefine how Mastercard identifies, evaluates, and scales AI across the enterprise. The platform will shape not only what AI solutions get built, but how people, processes, agents, and technology interact in an AI-enabled enterprise.
We are looking for a Director with the strategic foresight and know how to help execute this vision. You will join a small team of senior peers, each owning complementary dimensions of the platform and you will have real influence over how one of the world's largest payments companies applies AI at scale.

What you will do:

• Shape the design strategy of the enterprise AI engagement platform, reimagining how work gets done to take advantage of AI, automation, and agentic capabilities rather than simply digitizing existing ways of working.

• Own the UX/UI direction of the platform: user journeys, interaction design, interface standards, grounded in real behavior and end user needs, and designed for scale.
• Design AI-Native Operating Models: Define how people, agents, automation, and governance interact through conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, intelligent routing, recommendation systems, and human-in-the-loop decision patterns to create adaptive engagement journeys.
• Treat adoption as a core outcome: define engagement, adoption, workflow transformation, and business impact metrics; identify friction points; drive continuous improvement; and influence behavioral change across the organization.

• Contribute to the broader AI & Data Strategy agenda: portfolio prioritization, executive storytelling, and the operating model for how Mastercard scales AI alongside humans to accelerate innovation.

What we are looking for:
• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, product strategy, or digital product management — including leadership of complex digital products or platforms
• Strong command of modern UX/UI practice; user research, wireframing and prototyping (e.g., Figma), design systems, usability testing, and agile delivery
• Experience designing or leading enterprise tools, internal platforms, or products with complex multi-stakeholder workflows
• Genuine interest in AI and the curiosity to go deep on LLM-based products, agentic workflows, and responsible AI
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders and influencing without authority
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Based in Bogotá

It would be great if you also have:
• Experience applying AI, automation, or agentic technologies to transform how work is performed rather than solely improving existing tools
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered products (copilots, conversational interfaces, agentic tools)
• Experience using data and insights to drive product strategy, workflow optimization, or operational decision-making
• Experience in regulated industries where trust and governance shape the product
• Demonstrated systems-thinking approach to solving complex organizational problems involving people, process, technology, and governance
