We believe in cultivating a welcoming, inclusive culture that encourages personal growth through working hard while enjoying the journey. Please contact us at talent@getguru.com to request accommodation.

The Opportunity

At Guru, data isn't a support function. It's how we run the business. This role sits at the center of that: you'll be the connective layer between our data warehouse and the teams that depend on it to move fast and make good calls. Sales, Marketing, Finance, and GTM Systems all draw on this function to understand the pipeline, diagnose what's working, and plan ahead.

You'll own our operational reporting that drives leadership conversation, the pipelines that feed Salesforce, and the tools that route leads and power outbound. High visibility, high autonomy, real impact on how a growth-stage company operates.

Why This Role Matters

Guru is in an important growth phase, moving into the enterprise market with a focused go-to-market motion. The decisions that drive that motion — where to invest, what's converting, where pipeline is stalling — depend on accurate, trusted data getting to the right people at the right time. This role makes that possible. You're not building reports for their own sake. You're giving leadership the clarity to make better calls, faster.

What Makes You the Perfect Fit

  • You've built or maintained revenue forecasting or pipeline projection models and worked directly with sales leadership on forecast accuracy
  • You make data accessible. You turn analysis into recommendations that non-technical stakeholders can actually use
  • You don't need to be actively managed and thrive with great autonomy. You pick up priorities, run with them, and flag blockers early
  • You use AI tools as a normal part of how you work

What You'll Actually Do

  • Own the weekly GTM/marketing analytics report distributed to senior leadership, covering demand by segment, channel performance, pipeline created/closed/lost, and recommended actions
  • Build and maintain Sigma dashboards and reporting views; fulfill ad hoc analytics requests from stakeholders across the company
  • Write and maintain SQL against our Redshift data warehouse, navigate source tables and their limitations, and investigate data-integrity issues when they surface
  • Own the Hightouch reverse-ETL pipeline syncing warehouse data into Salesforce, including the underlying SQL, and configure product-metrics data flows into Salesforce
  • Build and maintain revenue forecasting and pipeline projection models in partnership with Sales and go-to-market leadership
  • Diagnose GTM business problems, develop strategic solutions, and build AI-powered automations that streamline workflows and drive efficiency across the go-to-market org
  • Manage and develop and workflow automations across the GTM tech stack
  • Be the go-to analytics resource across Finance, GTM Systems, Sales, and Marketing: translate findings into clear recommendations, not just numbers
  • Document reporting logic, data sources, and system configs to reduce single points of failure
  • Manage vendor relationships for analytics and martech tools and serve as the escalation point when integrations break

The Perks of Being Excellent

  • Flexible hybrid work: Monday-Friday, with autonomy to manage your schedule
  • Meaningful travel: 10-15% for strategic customer engagements (not endless road life)
  • True influence: Your field insights shape product development and customer success strategy
  • Growth trajectory: IC4 role with clear paths for advancement while staying technical

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in business operations, revenue analytics, marketing analytics, or a comparable data-focused role
  • Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (Redshift or comparable)
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting in a BI tool. Sigma is strongly preferred; Looker, Tableau, or comparable works too
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model; experience with reverse-ETL or data-integration tooling (Hightouch or comparable) strongly preferred
  • Experience with GTM systems and revenue operations: lead routing, data enrichment, workflow automation
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or analytical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a distributed environment

The base salary compensation range for the position outlined is $135,000- $185,000, depending on location. This role reports to the VP of Operations and is classified as IC5. We believe in reasonable accommodations and are committed to enabling qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions successfully.

Benefits to you

  • Competitive salary
  • Employee Incentive Stock Option Plan
  • Generous medical benefits package
  • Tax-advantaged accounts
  • 401k

  • Paid Parental, Family & Medical Leave
  • Wellness Stipend
