The Berger Foundation Iceplex’s supports a wide range of hockey development programs, from learn-to-play through adult leagues, with a strong focus on safety, inclusion, and player experience. Responsibilities Effectively operate and understand the use of the Iceplex scoreboardUtilize hockey knowledge to track the play for certain clock sequences. Keep an accurate accounting of statistics for league games on an IPad separate from the scoreboardEffectively multitasking between both the scoreboard controls and the IPad for statisticsOperate both penalty box doors for players entering and exiting the boxCommunicate effectively with the referees. Possess basic hockey knowledgeBe courteous and professionalPerforms all work in compliance with established Iceplex safety standards Qualifications Previous experience operating a scoreboard during sporting events is preferred but not required.Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly.Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.Must be able to maintain a positive self-image for Iceplex.Regular and reliable attendance.Ability to work evenings—common nights include Sunday-Wednesday/Hours 6:00pm–11:00pmAbility to establish and maintain a working relationship with customers, peers, and supervisors.Ability to follow and adhere to instructions set forth by supervisors, policy, and procedures.Ability to communicate with guests of all ages.
