Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.

The Role:

Logistics Senior Group Manager will lead the end-to-end logistics strategy and operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective material flow across the supply chain.

This role will be responsible for Egypt & Africa logistics activities, including transportation, inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing coordination, logistics optimization, and developing the strategic plan with the key shipping lines while supporting production continuity, inventory performance, SUP sales plan and overall operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Egypt & Africa logistics strategy and day-to-day operations to ensure uninterrupted material flow and operational stability

  • Oversee inbound, outbound, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities across Egypt & Africa in alignment with business needs

  • Drive logistics planning and execution to support production requirements, customer commitments, and inventory targets

  • Identify and implement logistics optimization initiatives to improve service, reduce cost, and increase efficiency

  • Develop and drive the strategic plan with the key shipping lines to support business continuity, cost competitiveness, and service performance

  • Monitor logistics performance, capacity, and risk, and ensure timely corrective actions when needed

  • Partner closely with purchasing, material planning, manufacturing, finance, customs and external logistics providers to ensure strong cross-functional execution

  • Manage logistics suppliers and service providers, including performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement actions

  • Lead crisis management and contingency planning for transportation, customs, port, supplier, or operational disruptions

  • Ensure compliance with safety, customs, trade, and company requirements across logistics activities

  • Build team capability and strengthen the organization through leadership, coaching, and people development.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)

Educational and Experience Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 10+ Years of experience in the field.

  • Strong experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain operations, or material flow management.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, sourcing, operational execution, and cost management

  • Proven ability to shape and execute forward-looking sourcing strategies that support business growth, operational resilience, and competitive advantage.

  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers, carriers, and external partners

  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or a similarly complex industrial environment is preferred

Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strong team management and cross-functional collaboration skills (Minimum 5 years of experience in a people leader position is preferable).

  • Ability to solve complex operational issues and make sound decisions under pressure

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable operational results

  • Proven ability to provide effective management oversight and apply internal control tools and monitoring processes to strengthen compliance, accountability, and risk mitigation
