Leverage data from Ford’s Enterprise Data Platform, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and various legacy systems to build robust data models, interactive dashboards, and high-quality management presentations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ETL processes - Extract, Transform, and Load Process (Alteryx, Python), data visualization (Power BI, Qlik Sense), and MS Power Automate, alongside impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and corporate standards.
Data Engineering & Transformation
Data Extraction: Extract and manage large-scale structured and unstructured datasets from Ford’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), SharePoint, legacy systems, and various relational databases.
ETL & Data Modeling: Clean, transform, and standardize raw data to create robust, scalable data models using Python, Power Query, Alteryx, advanced MS Excel, and other ETL tools.
Reporting, Visualization & Presentations
Dashboard Development: Design and develop dynamic, user-friendly digital reporting solutions and dashboards using Power BI, Qlik Sense, and MS Excel.
Management Presentations: Prepare high-quality slide decks and executive presentations for leadership, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to corporate formatting guidelines, and absolute data accuracy.
Excel Mastery: Create, replicate, and modify complex MS Excel-based templates utilizing advanced formulas and functions.
Workflow Automation: Develop and maintain automated workflows using MS Power Automate to send scheduled reports, alerts, and notifications via Email and MS Teams.
Deployment, Maintenance & Support
Publishing & Security: Publish dashboards to enterprise servers, configure automated refresh schedules, and implement necessary role-based security and access restrictions.
Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor the accuracy of dashboards, reports, and presentation data; proactively debug, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipelines or reporting errors.
Access & Administration: Manage end-user access for reporting tools. Oversee SharePoint and shared drive administration, including provisioning access, managing storage limits, and creating/maintaining SharePoint pages.
User Engagement & Continuous Improvement
User Adoption: Track and analyze dashboard usage metrics, gather feedback from end-users, and take actionable steps to improve reporting adoption and user experience.
Enhancements: Continuously iterate and make enhancements to existing dashboards and reports based on changing business needs.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-centric role.
Technical Tools: Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense) and ETL/Data preparation tools (Alteryx, Power Query, Python).
Advanced Excel & PowerPoint: Deep understanding of MS Excel (complex formulas, functions, templates) and PowerPoint (crafting professional management decks).
Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and maintaining corporate branding/formatting standards in all deliverables.
Automation: Hands-on experience with MS Power Automate for workflow and notification automation.
Platform Administration: Experience managing SharePoint sites, shared drives, and user access controls.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with end-users to gather requirements and present complex data clearly to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage):
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Automotive Industry terminologies and KPIs, including Industry Segmentation, Volume, Market Share, Segment Share, and Competitor Analysis.
AI & Machine Learning: Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their potential applications in data analytics and reporting.
