Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our House Supervisor, you will be a central orchestrator of care, empowering our frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and drive operational excellence.Every day, you will actively engage with patient care needs, guide and support your nursing team's growth, and champion departmental objectives. You'll fiercely advocate for your fellow nurses, fostering an environment where every individual reaches their full potential.To be successful in this critical role, you will embody accountability and confident leadership. Your exceptional communication will shine in 1:1 interactions with physicians, consultants, and family advocates, as you skillfully navigate challenging conversations to ensure optimal performance and patient outcomes.
- Organizes and oversees patient care delivery during an assigned shift. Monitors and assesses current environment for smooth hospital operations.
- Assesses and allocates resources as needed. Provides input to employee performance. Assists in the coaching of staff members.
- Documents daily staffing and administrative records and maintains compliance with governmental policies and procedures. Presents documentation to senior staff.
- Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis. Maintains communication to patient and family members regarding care needed.
Job Requirements
Required
- Three (3) years of nursing experience
- One (1) year of leadership experience
- Two (2) years of critical care or ED RN experience
- Associate of Nursing, Bachelors of Nursing or foreign equivalent
- Active Nursing license in good standing valid to work in Arizona
- American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support card (AHA BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support card (AHA ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support card (AHA PALS)
