Market Inclusion and Belonging Lead: Job Description

Role

Reporting to HP Inc.’s Global Inclusion and Belonging Lead; this position will create a strategy and drive programs and initiatives that redefine inclusion and belonging in the workplace. As the Market Inclusion Lead, you will collaborate with key partners across the Inclusion and Belonging organization, PO, business leadership, BRGs, COE organizations, and more to develop and implement strategies to improve hiring, retention, and development of an inclusive workforce. You will dive deep to understand the employee experience and influence stakeholders to address challenges and implement changes.

The Market Inclusion Lead will focus on:

  • Strategy – Partners with Inclusion and Belonging and HR leadership teams to develop a strategic plan for Inclusion and Belonging, ensuring alignment with Global Inclusion and Belonging strategies and goals. Implements metrics for measuring the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives and programs.
  • Increase Inclusion – Increases inclusion at all levels, functions, and roles. Works with business management, PO, and recruiting to develop hiring and retention programs that support an inclusive environment.
  • Foster an Inclusive Work Environment – Leads and manages programs, training, and initiatives that support a more inclusive work environment. Drives awareness to increase the inclusion competency of our workforce. Fosters a strong BRG and Inclusion and Belonging community.
  • Community Connections – Collaborates and builds relationships with Inclusion and Belonging organizations and non-profits to support inclusion goals. Represents HP externally. Develops key partnerships that support inclusion in our communities, attract talent, and highlight HP as an employer of choice with inclusive communities.
  • Change management and influence – supports change management efforts to embed inclusive behaviors and mindsets across leadership and play key roles as influencers of change.
  • Tools and Resources – Creates inclusion and belonging tools and resources to support business leaders, BRG leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Scale Programming Globally – Identifies opportunities to scale inclusion programs across the globe. Works with relevant partners to implement these solutions.
  • Enterprise Alignment – Aligns Inclusion and Belonging initiatives with the People Promise and Inclusion and Belonging narrative, fostering an enterprise mindset at the market level.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership - Identifies emerging trends in inclusion and belonging, translating them into strategic pilots and forward-thinking market activations.
  • Market Engagement – Leads the implementation of the Inclusion and Belonging Market Engagement Blueprint to enhance local engagement and impact.
  • BRG Strategy – Supports the execution of the Business Resource Group (BRG) New Model Strategy to drive effective collaboration and outcomes.
  • External Engagement – Strengthens HP’s brand positioning by enhancing engagement through strategic external partnerships focused on inclusion and belonging.
  • Enterprise Initiatives – Contributes to enterprise-level initiatives that align with and support the organization’s overall goals and objectives.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in HR functional area, HR generalist, HR consulting, employee relations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
