As an Account Executive for Uber Eats, you are on the frontline of our fastest-growing business, introducing restaurant partners to our platform and helping them grow their businesses in an increasingly competitive landscape.

This role isn't about pushing a product—it’s about building long-term partnerships in a fast-changing environment where the pace is intense and the stakes are high. You’ll need to be resilient, resourceful, and energized by the messy reality of the sales cycle, moving with urgency to turn prospects into successful, high-performing partners.

 

What you’ll do

  • Manage the entire end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and cold calling to pitching, contract negotiation, and closing deals that drive significant business growth.
  • Leverage local knowledge to identify and bring on the best restaurants in strategic markets, ensuring our selection meets the diverse needs of our users.
  • Communicate the value of Uber Eats and our latest product features clearly, removing barriers to entry and helping partners reach their specific business goals.
  • Collaborate across operations and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition for new partners, setting them up for measurable success within their first month on the platform.
  • Own restaurant partner performance during the critical first 28 days, providing consultative support to ensure a strong start and long-term retention.
  • Proactively identify and redesign inefficient internal processes, ensuring the team can move quickly and succeed at a massive scale despite shifting priorities.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
  • Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing a complex sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce, to manage sales activities.
  • Degree level education (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the food delivery, hospitality, or e-commerce marketplace industries.
  • Extraordinary listening and communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style to a wide variety of audiences.
  • A resourceful and persistent attitude, with a relentless drive to achieve goals and overcome objections.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
