Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their team. As a Reliability Engineer, you will have the opportunity to perform device characterization and reliability stress operations. This is a fast paced, technical function combining multiple disciplines to evaluate onsemi product for the automotive market.
Performance Objectives
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Organize, document, and perform device reliability stress activities.
- Gain a full understanding of Automotive Reliability Specifications including AQG324.
- Collaborate with our team of Engineers and Technicians to support Reliability operations.
- Generate Stress Reports for distribution and archival
- Perform device characterization.
- Work on cutting edge technologies like Silicon Carbide.
- Generate qualification plans for process changes in assembly/packaging and fab
- Executes qualifications from planning, scheduling, execution to resolution of issues to effect timely completion and quality data generation
- Provide reliability risk assessment for Manufacturing-related quality and reliability issues, customer quality issues and qualification failures.
- Drives resolution of qualification-related issues to prevent problem recurrence and ensure smooth qualification execution
- Plans and executes daily processing of Reliability Monitors from environmental stressing to electrical testing to ensure generation of reliability data on timely manner.
- Generate reports to document results of rel qualifications and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (EE, ME, EET, or Mechatronics preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
- Individual must be able to multi-task as an individual and work in team environments.
- Individual must have problem solving skills.
- Individual must have good organizational skills.
- Must have a strong understanding of data analysis techniques
- Must have good communication skills verbal as well as written.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (EE, ME, or Mechatronics preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor environment, either in reliability engineering or assembly process engineering
- Knowledge of the automotive semiconductor qualification specifications AEC Q100, Q101 etc.
- Must be able to generate database queries and be able to relay data visually/verbally to the team.
- Strong technical presentation skills.
