You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Palmetto, FL location with an on-site work schedule. This position requires up to 50% domestic travel with the potential for global travel.
In this role, you will impact the quality control processes ensuring the adherence of all critical materials and suppliers globally to the Supplier Management process. This position interfaces closely with Manufacturing, Mechanical Design Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to continually assess supplier risk and implement risk management plans to identify and develop new suppliers and monitor, improve and prevent supplier performance issues
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Supply Chain Risk Management Plans and develop and maintain Supplier Management (Quality, Cost , Delivery) plans for all key suppliers.
- Maintain records of current qualifications of personnel (NDE Certifications) in accordance with SNT-TC-1A including regular documented audits of radiography inspections.
- Facilitate supplier audits and technical meetings to observe and assess supplier performance, improve supplier communication, discuss existing or potential problems, review deficiencies, review analytical data, review improvement opportunities, identify new or improved technologies, and educate suppliers on LNG requirements.
- Maintain Supplier Scorecards.
- Develop and staff onsite inspections at supplier sites to ensure product meets required specifications prior to shipment.
- Partner with Mechanical Design Engineering to ensure adherence to the Supplier Qualification and Approval Process including the development of supplier qualification plans, collection and analysis of supporting data and recommendations on long term supplier viability.
- Own the supplier non-conformance process and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Drive the implementation of robust root cause investigations and corrective/preventative actions. Ensure appropriate cross functional participation where appropriate.
- Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain
- Audit supplier manufacturing and quality processes. Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities
- Monitor ongoing supplier performance, maintain monthly supplier metrics and develop and implement supplier improvement plans.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality roles.
- Min 2 years experience in supplier quality control systems such as inspections, audits, and/or scorecards

- BS in engineering or other technical discipline. Experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree. Strong communication skills and proven track record of leading multifunctional teams to successful outcomes
