Job Description
The Connected Services Networks and Security Services Team Lead is responsible for execution and team management throughout the life cycle of focused consulting engagements with our valued customers.
The Networks and Security Services Team Lead will manage a team of diverse experienced engineers and consultants in Latin-American while also implementing individual projects. Mentor skills are critical in ensuring that all team members are successful in completing their assigned Assessment, Audit, Design, and Implementation projects within Network, Security, Virtualization, and Wireless areas of expertise. These projects will be specific to allowing a Connected Enterprise by connecting the Industrial Internet of Things.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaboration skills to manage a team of diverse, highly qualified members and to work with peers, clients, and vendors.
- Mentoring capabilities to expose team members to opportunities that aid in the growth of their skills
- Vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to aid in the interaction with peers, team members, and internal / external customers.
- Strong commercial skills, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple diverse projects.
- Experience in reviewing documentation associated with Assessments, Audits, Design, and Implementation projects to provide recommendations against industry standards
- 'Hands-on' experience in designing and deploying Networking, Virtualization, Security, and Wireless solutions within process
The Essentials – You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree
- +2 years of experience.
- Travel Requirements - Flexibility for travel 25% - 50% is required and can include both domestic and international trips.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
- Solid technical skills with EtherNet/IP, specifically around assessment, design and implementation of complex systems.
- Familiarity with a variety of security and/or networking concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network.
- Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment.
- Design, implement and support customer's converged business and manufacturing/industrial systems and user needs in parallel with their overall business strategies.
- Write detailed documentation that could include user needs, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation requirements in order to develop or modify manufacturing infrastructure.
- Team based mentoring skills within a highly dynamic environment that promotes strong growth within its members
- Hands-on experience configuring Virtual Server Environments ( Vmware, Nutanix, HyperV)
- Hands-on experience configuring IT/OT equipment (Cisco Switches, Cisco Firewalls, Virtual Server Environments, Anti-Virus Software, etc.)
- Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations.
- In-depth understanding of Ethernet/IP and CIP protocol
- Networking and Virtualization certifications
