The Design Engineering team is responsible for developing innovative and reliable engineering solutions for aerospace components, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, ergonomics, and productivity standards. The department works collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to deliver optimized designs that meet customer requirements, support production processes, and drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and engineering excellence. 

  

What You Will Do:  

  • Deliver design engineering solutions that promote safety, ergonomics, quality, and productivity, following Design Manuals and best engineering practices for aircraft components.  

  • Apply strong understanding of materials and their properties to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and reliability standards.  

  • Support operations and manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with established engineering specifications and standards.  

  • Lead and participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to identify, analyze, and resolve internal and external quality issues.  

  • Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and process efficiency.  

  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing optimized designs that improve performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of design outputs and successful product implementation.

Qualifications You Must Have:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.  

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in product design and development.  

  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written – 90% or higher).  

  • Proven experience creating 3D structural models using CATIA V5.  

  • Knowledge and application of GD&T for precise dimensioning and tolerance of design components. 

 

Qualifications We Prefer:  

  • Experience working with PLM systems such as Enovia, Teamcenter, or similar tools.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).  

  • Knowledge of composite materials and their applications.  

  • Valid U.S. Visa.
