What You'll Do
Day-to-day Salesforce configuration
Own ad-hoc business change requests end-to-end, from requirements through to delivery, across fields, objects, flows, page layouts, and automation
Operate with independence on complex configuration; work within the team’s quality gate and bring the technical judgement to know when to escalate versus execute
Support release preparation: assist with testing, documentation, and deployment coordination in Gearset
Data stewardship & AI-readiness enforcement
Own AI-readiness enforcement day-to-day of field descriptions, naming conventions, object hygiene, and metadata consistency, operating within the framework the has defined and identifying gaps proactively
Run regular data quality audits and flag degradation or gaps to the senior team before they become incidents
Own data quality dashboards and hygiene reports. Keep metrics current, surface anomalies, and present findings to the team and Intelligence & Automation leadership
Build and maintain Salesforce Flow and validation rule automation. Not just maintenance, but identifying opportunities to automate away manual work
BAU administration & support
Manage the Business Systems support queue and Slack channel as primary coverage owner — triage, prioritise, resolve, and escalate appropriately; as the team expands its AI workflow tooling, this role will be the first line of support for those integrations as they come into production
Own process documentation as a first-class responsibility. Every configuration documented in a way that is repeatable, transferable, and structured so that AI tools can use it as reliable context, not just a record for humans
Own the BAU admin queue: user provisioning, onboarding and offboarding, permission set assignments, and routine access management
What Success Looks Like
You understand why the AI-readiness standards exist and enforce them with conviction because you see the direct connection between clean, well-governed Salesforce data and the quality of AI-driven GTM workflows
You bring AI into how you work. Using AI tooling in your day-to-day Salesforce responsibilities as a natural extension of how you operate
Business change requests are handled promptly, independently, and built to standard: no rework, no shortcuts, minimal escalation needed
Salesforce field metadata, naming conventions, and object hygiene are consistently maintained as the org grows and changes
The BAU queue and support channel are well-managed: the senior team is not pulled into routine requests
You're operating at a senior level, proactively identifying gaps, suggesting improvements, and contributing to how the team works, not just what it delivers
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Salesforce administration or a business systems role within a B2B SaaS environment
Strong Salesforce configuration experience: fields, objects, page layouts, flows, validation rules, permission sets, and ideally some Apex exposure
Strong attention to detail: you notice when something is inconsistent and you fix it properly rather than working around it
Clear written communication skills: you can document what you've built and why, in a way others can follow
Experience owning small-to-medium Salesforce projects end-to-end: requirements gathering, build, testing, and deployment
Familiarity with AI or LLM tooling in a GTM or RevOps context, or strong curiosity to learn
Preferred
Salesforce Administrator and Platform Builder certifications
Exposure to data governance concepts: field standards, naming conventions, metadata hygiene
Experience working in a cybersecurity, SaaS, or technical B2B environment
Experience with Gearset or similar Salesforce deployment tooling
