The Environmental Services (EVS) Lead supports the site with daily management and operation of the EVS department. This role assists with coordinating staff activities, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring quality service delivery, training team members, monitoring work performance, and helping resolve operational issues. The Lead serves as a resource for staff and helps ensure departmental goals and regulatory standards are consistently met.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous Environmental Services experience preferred
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop and apply effective supervisory and leadership skills
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Supervisor with daily department operations
Lead and support Environmental Services staff
Monitor work quality and compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members
Address operational concerns and escalate issues as needed
Help ensure efficient staffing and workflow coordination
Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Pay Range:
$17.85 - $21.76
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
