Accountabilities:
- Provide end-to-end application maintenance and support for SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI environments.
- Handle Priority 1 and Priority 2 production incidents, ensuring timely resolution of business-critical integration issues.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and stabilize SAP PI/PO (ABAP and Java) and SAP CPI integrations on SAP BTP.
- Analyze integration failures using PI monitoring tools and CPI message processing logs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Support hybrid integration scenarios across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, cloud platforms, and non-SAP systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain interfaces including IDoc, RFC, Proxy, File, SOAP, REST, and OData integrations.
- Work with integration components such as adapters, iFlows, mappings, certificates, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams, Basis teams, network teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements, ticket management standards, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate incident records, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call or shift-based support activities when required.
- Identify opportunities for improving integration reliability, performance, and support processes.
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP PI/PO application support.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP CPI on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Strong knowledge of SAP PI/PO architecture, including ABAP and Java stacks.
- Experience with SAP CPI iFlows, Enterprise Service Repository (ESR), Integration Directory, mappings, and adapters.
- Strong debugging skills across payloads, mappings, interfaces, and integration errors.
- Experience supporting interfaces such as IDoc, RFC, Proxy, File, SOAP, REST, and OData.
- Understanding of security artifacts, certificates, and integration configurations.
- Experience working in AMS, ITSM, or enterprise support environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Ability to manage production outages independently and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in global and cross-functional teams.
