Accountabilities:
- Develop scientifically accurate, client-ready content across a range of medical communications deliverables, including slide decks, executive summaries, meeting materials, and other strategic assets.
- Translate complex clinical data and scientific evidence into clear, compelling narratives tailored to healthcare professional audiences.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, critically evaluate published research, and synthesize findings into evidence-based communications.
- Collaborate closely with medical, editorial, and client teams to develop content strategies and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes by incorporating feedback, addressing reviewer comments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain scientific accuracy, data integrity, and consistency while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical communications agency or a similar scientific communications environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing scientific content across multiple formats, including presentations, publications, and executive summaries.
- Strong literature research, data interpretation, and scientific writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with MLR review processes and industry guidelines for compliant scientific communications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and reference management software such as EndNote.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience supporting Medical Affairs, publications, commercial content, or multiple therapeutic areas is considered an asset.
- Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 – $125,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
