Accountabilities:

    The Senior Analyst - Automation Development will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions while supporting enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives.

    • Develop and configure intelligent automation solutions in alignment with defined business requirements and established design principles.
    • Design efficient, scalable, and maintainable automation components following coding standards and best practices.
    • Collaborate with business analysts and technical leaders to assess automation opportunities, define solution approaches, and estimate effort requirements.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring compliance with development standards, policies, and governance processes.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to solution architecture discussions with technical leads.
    • Support the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, methodologies, and enterprise standards.
    • Work closely with technical and functional teams responsible for underlying systems integrated into automation solutions.
    • Operate within agile development environments, participating in iterative requirement gathering, development, testing, and deployment cycles.
    • Partner with business stakeholders during testing phases to troubleshoot and resolve defects with high-quality solutions.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to delivery teams and leadership.
    • Take ownership of deliverables, including planning, effort estimation, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable automations.
    • Identify opportunities for reusable automation components and contribute to future process industrialization initiatives.
    • Proactively recommend new technologies, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has strong automation development expertise, hands-on experience with BPM technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, STEM disciplines, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Typically 5–6+ years of relevant experience in automation development or related technical roles.
      • Strong hands-on experience with Appian development and business process management technologies.
      • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement enterprise automation solutions.
      • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to solve complex business challenges through technology.
      • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to evaluate alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.
      • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and iterative delivery frameworks.
      • Knowledge of software development standards, documentation practices, and code review processes.
      • Experience working with enterprise technologies, integrations, cybersecurity requirements, and infrastructure teams.
      • Exposure to AI-native capabilities within Appian Cloud or similar intelligent automation technologies is considered an advantage.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
      • Demonstrated curiosity and passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning.
