As a Procurement Buyer II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and executing procurement activities that support our organization's operational and strategic goals. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient purchasing processes, cost-effectiveness, and supplier collaboration to maintain a reliable supply chain.

You will work out of our Palmetto, FL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization's ability to optimize procurement practices, control costs, and maintain quality standards, contributing to overall business success and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the purchasing process from identifying procurement needs through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

· Evaluate potential suppliers, conduct due diligence, and negotiate terms to secure cost-effective and high-quality purchases.

· Monitor procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation to support budget goals.

· Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a responsive and reliable supply chain, addressing issues as they arise.

· Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and internal compliance standards, maintaining accurate procurement records.

YOU MUST HAVE

· Minimum of 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

· Strong knowledge of procurement processes including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.

· Proficiency with procurement software and tools to manage purchasing activities and reporting.

· Experience in cost control and supplier relationship management to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

· Understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to procurement activities.

WE VALUE

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· Experience in process technology or industrial sectors is a plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
