We're committed to excellence in everything we do, and we're seeking talented individuals who share our passion and values to join our team.As a Quality Controller at Terex, based in Cookstown, you'll play a pivotal role in helping produce equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.What you’ll do:Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QC will be involved in a wide range of activities in relation to the inspection of chassis and associated ancillary equipment, including cut/folded production parts and contribute to the sites already improving Quality culture.Duties include: Actively addressing and raising quality concerns on a day-to-day basisPDI of chassis and associated ancillary equipment ( using 3D model software and uploading reports )Paint checks of chassis/horn/Power unitsRoutine inspection of internally fabricated parts and sub assembly units before moving to main buildPDI reports, Morning meetings, and other associated paperworkContribute to the prompt resolution of customers FRACAS ( External N/Cs )Maintain Quality gates in designated areasResponsibility to escalate non conformances using internal red tag processSupporting in quality investigations as requiredInternal auditing ( 5S, LSOP etc )Adhering to strict quality targetsWorking as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety RegulationsWhat you’ll bring:Experience & Qualifications:Experience in a quality/inspector role.Basic computer skillsExperience of working within a Quality management systemKnowledge of using measurement equipment ( Weld gauge, Taper gauge, Angle finder etc )Experience of working within the manufacturing processUnderstanding the weld processGood teamwork and communication skillsGood awareness of health and safetyAbility to create clear handwritten reportsKnowledge of Terex cut/fold processExperience in continuous improvement.All applicants must demonstrate through their application form how they meet the criteria for the position applied for.  We reserve the right to enhance our selection criteria at the short-listing stage, if required.This above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role. Why Join Us: We are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values — Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship.
