Responsible for the successful operation of a maintenance shift and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the facility. Promote Family Style through actions and positive attitude.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Supervises processes and programs to effectively control, and reduce loss time injuries. Ensures the safety and security of team members and customers.
- Controls staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Supervises staff members and delegate duties.
- Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
- Reviews and Maintain departments inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Communicates all maintenance task activities accomplished and assigned with Facilities Manager.
- Supervises and coordinates timely completion of property and safety inspections reports, applicable OSHA Compliance, EAP Regulations and ADA building codes.
- Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities and equipment on property including grounds.
- Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees. Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Two to five experience in the maintenance of a large working facility or plant operations with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to push and pull up to 250 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and up to 250 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing or sitting position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
