Electrician - Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment throughout the resort. Responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring the safe and reliable functioning of electrical installations in accordance with resort standards and local regulations. To maintain excellent working relationships with fellow Team Members and support a positive work environment that promotes high performance, safety, and service excellence in line with Hilton’s guest satisfaction objectives, as well as the resort’s business and strategic plans. Specifically, as an Electrician for Waldorf Astoria Maldives, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: 

• Support and uphold the resort’s values, culture, and service standards to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to Waldorf Astoria Brand Standards, Quality Assurance requirements, and SALT initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional guest service through a proactive, professional, and solution-oriented approach.
• Promote resort facilities, services, and the Waldorf Astoria brand to guests and stakeholders.
• Maintain professional grooming, appearance, hygiene, and punctual attendance at all times.
• Comply with all resort policies, procedures, and Team Member Handbook requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to fire, health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Foster positive working relationships and effective communication with colleagues, suppliers, contractors, and third parties.
• Collaborate with all resort departments to enhance guest experiences and support operational objectives.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Assist Engineering leadership in maintaining operational efficiency and managing departmental activities.
• Minimize operational costs through the proper use, care, and maintenance of resort assets and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, daily logbooks, and documentation in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist Senior Electricians in carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency breakdowns of electrical and related equipment.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, circuits, equipment, appliances, and control systems while ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Install, assemble, and maintain electrical systems using appropriate tools, testing equipment, technical drawings, and specifications while ensuring safe and efficient operation

An Electrician serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works.
• Previous experience in construction projects, industrial facilities, or large-scale building maintenance operations.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, technical diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control panels, including fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and rectification of electrical defects
