This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, Existing Chemicals Risk Management Division. About: Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected). You will: Direct and guide regulatory program management and implementation to ensure they comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customers' needs. Conduct budget/program evaluations for developing division strategies, defining program objectives, estimating required resources, reviewing and evaluating ongoing program activities and assessing outputs and outcomes. Exercise supervisory responsibilities to foster an environment that empowers employees to participate in and contribute to mission success. Serve as the division liaison for communication and coalition building on existing chemicals risk management activities. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
