As Vice President in Industry and Regulatory and Industry Developments within Securities Services, you will lead key initiatives that impact the post-trade and regulatory environment. You’ll work with internal teams and external partners to analyze, strategize, and execute on development agendas, engage with policy makers and industry associations, and help adapt products and services to meet evolving requirements. This New Yor or Boston based role offers the opportunity to drive impactful change, position J.P. Morgan as a thought leader, and shape the future of custody and securities services.
Job responsibilities
- Foster relationships and represent J.P. Morgan in key industry associations and working groups (e.g., AGC, SIFMA, BPI, ABA, ISITC, ICI).
- Monitor and engage in U.S. and global regulatory developments, assessing business and client impacts.
- Lead advocacy and influence on regulatory topics, coordinate responses to consultations, and engage policymakers.
- Support analysis, strategy recommendations, and engagement for key FMIs and industry utilities (DTCC, Federal Reserve, SWIFT).
- Prepare and update briefing papers and client-facing materials with recommendations for senior management.
- Develop and implement targeted client engagement strategies, including meetings, roundtables, and webinars.
- Create key metrics and reporting packages to track progress, risks, and challenges of industry initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong understanding and practical experience in custody/securities services (operations, product management, client service, fund accounting, fund administration, collateral management, etc.).
- 5+ years’ experience in financial services (securities services, asset management, wealth management, pensions/insurance, banking).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to drive stakeholders toward objectives.
- Client-facing and industry-facing experience, preferably with key stakeholders/decision makers.
- Proven track record of ownership, execution excellence, and results delivery.
- Knowledge and interest in digital innovation (Digital assets, AI) and its impact on custody services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (including PowerPoint) for communication and presentation.

- Experience in compliance, regulatory consultancy, or business/product control.
- Demonstrated ability to create actionable strategies, drive innovation, and maximize business goals.
- Active engagement in industry associations and working groups.
- Experience developing technical client-facing content and thought leadership.
