Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions using modern cloud and big data tools.
- Develop and optimize data workflows using Databricks, AWS, Python, and PySpark.
- Ensure high-quality data modeling, transformation, and availability for analytics and business consumption.
- Work with SQL for querying, validation, and structuring datasets following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Use version control and task management tools (Git, Jira) to ensure organized and traceable development.
- Support architecture decisions and contribute to cloud-based data platform evolution.
- Proven experience with Databricks and AWS in data engineering or data science contexts.
- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and task tracking tools (Jira or similar).
- Understanding of databases for data consumption, validation, and integration.
- Familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP or similar).
- Nice to have: experience with agile methodologies, BI tools (preferably Power BI), and data initiatives such as ETL, Big Data, or analytics projects.
