Single PositionExplore a Career With UsView All JobsInvestment Banking Senior AssociateSTOCKHOLM, SwedenApply NowFind out how well you match with this jobUpload your resumeJob descriptionJob ID26979197Date posted07/13/2026DepartmentInstitutional BankingThe Investment Banking Associate or Senior Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for providing strategic advisory services for clients and execute mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions as well as assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets.Responsibilities:Assist in the execution of Citi’s Investment Banking business activitiesLeverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilitiesContribute to building Citi’s franchiseManage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, managing information flow, as well as select project workstreamsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Strong level of expereince within a similar positionExperience in evaluating corporate transactions and structuresExperience creating financial analyses, including drafting financial models for the purpose of an M&A transactionDemonstrated problem solving and organizational skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsExperience assisting with client developmentAbility to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry trends)Fluent in at least one Nordic language and EnglishEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
