Support Global Military Healthcare Infrastructure, Make an Operational Impact

Are you a seasoned expert in medical facility planning, construction, and integration? Do you want to apply your expertise in a mission-critical environment supporting U.S. Army healthcare operations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East?

We are seeking a Health Facilities Integrator and Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the U.S. Army Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Army Europe-Africa (USAREUR-AF), and Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC). In this role, you will directly influence medical infrastructure readiness and help ensure high-quality care environments for deployed forces and military communities.



What You’ll Do

Medical Infrastructure Integration

  • Integrate and coordinate Army Medicine facility capital investment requirements across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
  • Support operational medical facilities by aligning infrastructure planning with mission requirements.

Strategic Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including EUCOM, USAREUR-AF, USACE, DHA, and host nations.
  • Support master planning, design development, and infrastructure strategy initiatives.

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage project lifecycles including planning, programming, design, construction, and transition.
  • Coordinate submittals, design reviews, RFIs, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track and report on project status including MILCON, SRM, and host-nation funded projects.

Compliance & Readiness

  • Ensure facilities comply with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), fire protection, life safety, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Analyze and apply codes, regulations, and standards to real-world design and construction challenges.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and present data for operational readiness clinics and medical logistics facilities.
  • Support recurring reports, briefings, and leadership updates.


Who You Are
  • A technical expert with deep experience in military medical facility planning and project execution.
  • Skilled in navigating complex DoD systems, policies, and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • A strategic thinker who can translate requirements into operational infrastructure solutions.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to solve complex facility and construction challenges.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Logistics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in U.S. medical operations, maintenance projects, or military medical construction (MILCON).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health facility planning, including UFC 4-510-01 and healthcare design standards.
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting U.S. military or government agencies.
 

Certifications & Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • DoD medical facility design and construction standards
    • Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) processes
    • Medical logistics and operational facility planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with project management and facility inspection systems.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply regulatory codes and technical criteria.
  • Expertise in data analysis and development of actionable solutions.
