Accountabilities:
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications focused on areas such as work order management, scheduling, dispatch, and enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into effective ServiceNow platform solutions.
- Design and implement custom applications, integrations, and user experiences tailored to different audiences and operational requirements.
- Develop integrated logic and functional components using ServiceNow APIs and REST-based integrations.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow capabilities including discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and multi-source CMDB solutions.
- Improve CMDB accuracy by implementing CI identification rules, preventing duplicate configuration items, and optimizing discovery processes.
- Configure, manage, and maintain MID Servers while supporting enterprise ServiceNow environments.
- Extend discovery capabilities through custom infrastructure patterns and application patterns.
- Support service mapping initiatives, including advanced pattern configuration, migration between environments, and command-line-based troubleshooting.
- Partner with technical experts and business teams to resolve complex platform challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Lead Engineer specializing in Platform, Custom Applications, and Integrations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow development concepts and the ability to design and implement scalable platform solutions.
- Experience developing interfaces, custom applications, and Service Portals for different user groups.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow internal services, APIs, REST integrations, and enterprise application architectures.
- Knowledge of service-oriented and distributed application architectures, including web services, data access, persistence, and client/server models.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Service Graph Connectors, and related platform capabilities.
- Understanding of credential-based and credential-less discovery approaches.
- Experience configuring identification rules, multi-tier service discovery, and advanced Service Mapping patterns.
- Ability to work with MID Servers, migrate patterns across environments, and troubleshoot complex configurations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
