Supervisory Nurse (Assistant Director of Nursing)

This position is located in the Medical Clinic - Nursing Services Department of the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center in Sisseton, South Dakota. The purpose of this position is to be the direct supervisor over the nursing and MSA staff and services in the clinic and assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and to assume the responsibility of the Director of Nursing in his/her absence. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021). Coordinates and monitors outpatient operations and patient care to ensure processes and policies are followed for employee performance and patient disposition. Documents observations, interventions, referrals, and other measures taken to provide services Develops and maintains nursing schedule for department, adjusting schedule as needed. Ensures departmental compliance with employee health requirements.
