Senior Content Marketing Manager, Storytelling
ABOUT RETELL AI
Retell AI is using first principles to reimagine the call center with cutting-edge voice AI.
Thousands of companies now utilize Retell’s AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that once required large teams of human agents. Backed by Y Combinator, Alt Capital, and other leading investors, we have scaled rapidly to tens of millions in ARR with a small, high-velocity team.
Our vision is to build a modern customer experience platform where AI agents operate as frontline workers, QA systems, and operational managers continuously executing, monitoring, and improving customer interactions.
We’re looking for builders who want to work on the hardest problems in applied AI, move fast, and have outsized ownership in shaping the company.
Let’s build the future together.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Retell AI is the voice AI platform for enterprise contact centers. We work with customers like CVS/Aetna, American Airlines, Lenovo, and Grab, and we have more customer stories than we can tell.
We are hiring a Senior Content Marketing Manager to own how those stories get told. You will interview customers like a reporter, find the angle a marketer would miss, and produce case studies and strategic blogs that people actually read and sales actually sends.
This is a high-ownership craft role. You report to the CMO and work closely with the founding team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own customer storytelling end-to-end
Source the customer, build the relationship, run the interview, find the angle, write the piece, drive distribution
Produce written and video case studies with enterprise customers, managing production partners for the big shoots
Write strategic blogs
Own the flagship blog: industry POVs, benchmark narratives, category arguments
Translate technical product launches into stories for contact center leaders and enterprise buyers
Own the written layer of product launches
Partner with product marketing on launch narratives and announcements
Run content programs
Own the customer announcement cadence, company newsletter, and company social content around launches and industry moments
YOU MIGHT THRIVE IF
You have 3-7 years in content marketing, editorial, or journalism, including B2B SaaS or tech experience
You trained as a journalist, or write like one: fresh angles, strong ledes, zero corporate speak
You have owned customer stories end-to-end, not just polished someone else's interview notes
You can talk to an engineer about latency and a VP of CX about containment rates in the same afternoon
You ship weekly without anyone checking in
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
3-7 years in content marketing, editorial, or journalism, including B2B SaaS or tech experience
A portfolio of published work with range: customer stories, essays, launch content
Proven end-to-end ownership of case studies or customer stories
Comfortable with technical products
Reporter instincts and editorial craft
Nice to have:
Newsroom or tech media background
Video fluency: can brief an agency shoot and film a scrappy walkthrough yourself
Experience with support, CX, or post-sales audiences
Startup experience, Series A through C
HOW WE EVALUATE
We care less about checkboxes and more about:
Whether your writing earns attention or fills a calendar
Whether customers would say yes to a second interview with you
Whether sales would actually send what you write
Whether you find the story everyone else missed
INTERVIEW PROCESS
Stage 1: Recruiter intro call + portfolio review (15 min)
Stage 2: Phone round with hiring manager (30 min)
Stage 3: Phone round with CMO (30 min)
Stage 4: Final onsite with the team (2 hours)
