We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor (m/f/d) to join our Europe team at Applied Materials on a fixed-term basis (maternity cover). This is a full-time position based in our Heimstetten office (near Munich), Germany, with an expectation of onsite presence five days per week (with some flexibility where applicable).

In this role, you will partner closely with the business to attract and hire top talent across our European business units, with a primary focus on Germany. You will collaborate with a dynamic and international team to continuously enhance our recruitment approach, strengthen the candidate experience, and build strong relationships with hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers

  • Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand hiring needs, market dynamics, and recruitment challenges

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing and talent mapping strategies to attract high-quality candidates aligned with business objectives

  • Lead and coordinate university recruiting initiatives and early talent programs, including planning and execution of relevant events

  • Support the preparation of employment contracts in collaboration with hiring managers and local HR

  • Communicate offers to candidates and manage offer negotiations where applicable

  • Maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners) and external partners (e.g., agencies, universities, institutions)

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition professional in a corporate, fast-paced, or high-growth environment

  • Experience in recruiting for technology, engineering, or IT roles is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated experience in early careers recruiting and university engagement

  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of German labor law and employment practices

  • Experience with Workday Recruiting or other ATS systems as well as MS Office tools

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.


For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
