Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and technically adept Technical Consultant to join our Process Quality team. In this role, you will lead presales technical engagements for our process quality offerings — including AI-enabled capabilities — building and delivering demos, presales collateral, and technical consultations that showcase the value of our Fault Detection (FD), Run-to-Run (R2R), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) solutions. Your deep semiconductor fab process quality expertise, combined with working knowledge of ML/AI applications, will play a key role in addressing client needs, differentiating our product and AI offerings, and driving successful customer adoption.
Travel Requirement: up to 25%
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs, conduct requirements analysis, and design process quality solutions that meet business objectives.
- Lead and standardize product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities for FD, R2R, SPC, and AI-enabled process quality applications.
- Customize demos to highlight the unique value of our process quality solutions and AI/ML-based quality capabilities (e.g., anomaly detection, virtual metrology models).
- Develop technical proposals, solution configurations, and ROI/value narratives to align offerings with customer-specific needs.
Technical Consultation and AI/ML Enablement
- Provide in-depth technical consultation and training materials on process quality product features, functionality, and integration capabilities.
- Maintain working knowledge of ML/AI techniques applied to process quality, sufficient to explain and position these capabilities with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate capabilities and use cases into customer-facing messaging.
Feedback and Product Improvement
- Work closely with product development and engineering teams to design tailored FD/R2R/SPC and AI-enabled solutions that address customer requirements.
- Gather feedback from regional presales and customers to inform continuous product and AI based quality capabilities improvements.
- Act as the voice of the customer, communicating needs and challenges to the product development team.
Business Process
- Maintain up-to-date presales collateral, demo assets, and training materials for the worldwide presales team.
- Centralize documentation throughout the presales process, from opportunity identification through customer commitment.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor fab or related high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in technical presales, solutions engineering, or consulting, including building collateral and delivering customer demos.
Technical Proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of process quality applications: Fault Detection (FD), Run-to-Run (R2R) control, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Strong understanding of semiconductor process flows, equipment, and metrology.
- Working knowledge of ML/AI concepts and applications in process/quality monitoring (e.g., anomaly detection, virtual metrology), with the ability to speak credibly to technical and business audiences.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (Python, SQL, JMP, Minitab, or similar) is a plus.
Communication Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customer executives.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to assess complex customer requirements, analyze large process/quality datasets, and design tailored solutions that address technical challenges effectively.
